The “Russian world in art” module introduces students to key works of literature, painting, music and architecture that reflect Russian culture and spiritual traditions. Within the topic, the influence of historical events and national worldview on the creativity of outstanding Russian artists, writers and composers is analyzed.

This module explores the deep foundations of the Russian national character through the lens of folk culture, Orthodoxy and philosophical thought. Listeners will trace how the key traits of the Russian mentality were formed.

This module reveals the dynamics of intergenerational interaction in Russia. The contemporary Russian family: challenges and values. Major landmarks in Russia.
