The Russian Language Centre at HSE University
in Nizhny Novgorod was establish to offer extra professional education programmes in the field of foreign languages. The Centre is engaged in teaching foreign students Russian language, helps them quickly master it, speak the language and successfully pass exams (TBL, TORFL I-IV).

Our courses allow students to communicate fluently with native speakers in everyday situations, listen to courses in Russian, read texts without a dictionary, learn the basic grammatical categories of the language and master Russian at the A2-B1 level and above.

Mastering the phonetic system includes the setting of the correct pronunciation and studying intonation patterns. The skills of reading Cyrillic and listening are formed.
Learning the basic vocabulary necessary to solve simple communication tasks. It touches upon such lexical topics as acquaintance, greetings, family, transportation, etc.
Introduces the fundamental principles of making statements in Russian language. Basic forms and structures of simple sentences are mastered.
Formation of a lexical base for everyday communication. A lexical minimum for making coherent statements and conducting dialogues in everyday situations.
